Earned credentials. Not bought.

Manufacturer certifications are the single highest trust signal in residential roofing. They are hard to get, easy to lose, and almost impossible to fake. A real GAF Master Elite contractor has been through workmanship audits, warranty-claim history review, customer-satisfaction surveys, and a financial-stability check — and renews all of that annually. A roofer who claims Master Elite status without the certificate is the roofer who will not be there in five years.

The five credentials below are what we have. We list the certificate IDs and the year we earned each one. If you have any doubt, you can call the manufacturer and verify us by the ID. We've offered to do that walk-through with customers since 2017 and not one has ever taken us up on it — but the offer stands.

Earned 2017

GAF Master Elite Contractor

Cert ID: MASTER-ELITE-#18-0234

GAF Master Elite is the top 2% of GAF contractors in North America. GAF issues it to fewer than 2% of the roofing companies in the country. To earn it, we had to pass workmanship audits on installed roofs, prove a clean warranty-claim history, submit customer-satisfaction survey results across 50+ recent jobs, and pass a financial-stability check. We renew the certification annually and GAF audits us on the same metrics every year.

Master Elite status is what allows us to offer the GAF Golden Pledge 50-year limited material warranty plus 25 years of workmanship coverage from GAF — the strongest residential roofing warranty in the industry, and one that is independent of our company's continuity. If Holloway closed tomorrow, your Golden Pledge would still cover your roof. (Holloway is not closing tomorrow.)

This is our primary certification and the one we install most often. Most Holloway roofs are GAF Timberline HDZ on a Master Elite system.

Earned 2019

Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor

Cert ID: PLATINUM-#2019-OC-447

Owens Corning Platinum Preferred is the top tier of OC's contractor program. We earned it in 2019 after three years of OC installs and a workmanship review. Platinum status is what allows us to install Duration Storm impact-resistant (Class 4) shingles with the full Platinum Protection limited lifetime warranty.

Impact-resistant shingles are the most common upgrade we recommend in Williamson County — Texas has the highest hail incidence in the country, and many Texas insurance carriers offer a 5–25% premium discount on homeowners with Class 4 roofs. The math on Duration Storm vs. standard architectural shingles often pays back inside seven years on premium savings alone, before the storm-resistance benefit.

We bring physical samples of every OC Platinum shingle to your driveway during the inspection so you can compare colors against the existing roof in daylight.

Earned 2020

CertainTeed Select Shingle Master

Cert ID: CT-SHINGLE-MASTER

CertainTeed Select Shingle Master is the highest tier of CertainTeed's contractor credentialing program. We earned it in 2020. Select Master status allows us to install CertainTeed Landmark and Presidential Shake products with the SureStart PLUS extended manufacturer warranty.

CertainTeed's Presidential Shake line is our most-installed designer shingle — it's a luxury asphalt product that mimics the look of cedar shake at roughly half the cost and triple the lifespan. Most homeowners who choose Presidential Shake are doing a re-roof in a neighborhood where the architectural style asks for a more textured roof — Sun City Georgetown, Cimarron Hills, and the older Forest Creek lots.

Holding Select Master with all three of GAF, OC, and CertainTeed simultaneously is unusual. Most roofers commit to one manufacturer's program. We carry all three because Williamson County homeowners ask for all three.

Earned 2019 — Marcus Reyes

HAAG Certified Roof Inspector

HAAG-CRI · Marcus Reyes

HAAG Engineering is the inspection-methodology standard the insurance industry uses to evaluate hail damage on residential roofs. Insurance adjusters across the country are trained on HAAG methodology. Marcus completed the HAAG Certified Roof Inspector program in 2019 — he's one of fourteen HAAG-certified inspectors in the Austin metro.

What this means practically: when a State Farm or USAA adjuster walks your roof, they're using the same methodology Marcus already used on your inspection. The two of them are reading the roof from the same playbook. Disagreements on scope are uncommon when both parties are HAAG-trained — and when they happen, our supplements are documented in HAAG-compliant format, which makes them harder for carriers to reject.

If your insurance claim has been denied or partially approved and you think the scope is wrong, ask us for a second opinion from Marcus. We've helped homeowners reverse denials more than fifty times since 2019.

Accredited 2008

BBB A+ Accredited Business

BBB ID 90015728

Holloway has been BBB A+ accredited since 2008 — eighteen straight years with no unresolved complaints. We've had two complaints filed against us in that span; both were resolved within seventy-two hours of filing and both customers updated the BBB to confirm the resolution.

BBB is not the strongest credential on this page — it's reputation-tracking, not technical certification — but eighteen years without an unresolved complaint says something about the way the office runs. Karen takes the calls. That helps.
